While building software we regularly write small programs for ourselves. Some of them are too good to keep to ourselves. You may use them free of charge, on as many computers as you like, privately and commercially. No licence fees, no registration, no advertising.
VSI MD Reader
A compact desktop reader for Markdown files (.md). Opens a file with a double-click or from the command line, renders it with a table of contents beside it, and exports it to Word with real Word styles for headings, lists and tables.
Requires the .NET 10 Desktop Runtime. The MSI installs for every user of the computer and asks for confirmation (UAC); the ZIP is the bare version: unpack it and start VSIMDReader.exe.
